Welcome to the USS Devonshire NCC-79942!

Welcome to the USS Devonshire NCC-79942!

"The soldier above all others prays for peace, for it is the soldier who must suffer and bear the deepest wounds and scars of war." - Douglas MacArthur

A single Federation Task Force, the borders of three major powers and the uncontrolled area known as "The Triangle" that falls between these borders. Smugglers, black market activities, pirates, and a civil war raging inside the Klingon Empire. This is the area the USS Devonshire and it's crew find themselves in the middle of. As the only Insignia class vessel in the area, they are as highly adaptable as the situation is fluid. With their embarked Marine Air Wing and Marine Ground Force, the capacity to evacuate 1,200 people off a planet, and the ability to get where they're needed faster than the rest of the Task Force, the Devonshire is the rapid response unit of the area. One day they may be assisting in repairing a ship attacked by pirates, and the next could see them providing medical aid during a disease outbreak. If push comes to shove the Devonshire and her crew will stand their ground and take the fight to the enemy.

These are only a few of the stories waiting to be written into the pages of history. Do you have what it takes to have your name entered into those pages?

» New Fleet Management System is Online!

Posted on Sun Jan 22nd, 2017 @ 1:34am by Commodore Graham Cantos in General News

Greetings everyone!

For those who don't check the fleet forum very often, though I encourage everyone to do so! A new management system has gone online this evening, replacing the old Task Force Management System and combining many of the Bravofleet site's into one comprehensive system. I understand that many of you will look at this announcement and say, 'so? what's this got to do with me? I don't run a sim or task force.' While that may be, you can create an account and then begin adding all your characters you have within the fleet into that account. There's much, much more that you can do already with even more on the way. However, to save time, take a look at the official announcement:

I encourage everyone to make use of this new system. I'm currently working on learning it myself, so if you have any questions, you can either ask me or once you're logged in, submit a service request through the site.

» TF99 November Sim of the Month

Posted on Mon Dec 26th, 2016 @ 3:53pm by Commodore Graham Cantos in Sim Announcement

First off, Merry Christmas or if you prefer it, Happy Holidays everyone! For those of you who may look over RSB, you may have noticed November Awards were posted. In case you missed it, you can find it here:

If you'll take a gander at that announcement and scroll down to the TF99 section, you'll see our ship listed. That's right folks, in our first month as a full sim we were nominated, twice I might add, for Sim of the Month. I know because I read all the reports after all. We received the most nominations that were valid, that is supported by evidence, and so we have subsequently been awarded Task Force 99 Sim of the Month for November 2016. If you will go into your user info and select OOC awards, you'll find the ribbon has been awarded to everyone who was a member in November.

Unfortunately that means I had to keep it from our Doctor and Helmsman since they joined in December. However, I have no worries that they'll be getting one next time because I'm sure we're only beginning to bring in the awards. With the activity this crew has provided so far, and during the holiday season no less, I'm sure we'll be getting SotM again as well as many other awards. Congratulations folks, to get the SotM in our first month of activity is pretty amazing. Thanks to all of you for making this sim as great as it already is!

To the denizens of Engineering, the presence of a department head within their ranks was not an abnormal sight. Engineers, by nature, were not satisfied sitting on the sidelines, directing traffic. They were more content in the trenches, hands on with matters that meant more to them when tangibly touched…

After leaving the Captain, Ens. Shizn took the turbolift to deck 7. Stepping out into the passageway, Tris took great strides with purpose toward the Holosuite. On the way down he had confirmed it's availability and reserved time for that holo-deck.
